There have been a lot of threads over the ages regarding how to convert flv to ipod mp4, well, I figured I'd make a thread to end any confusion. You don't HAVE to use this method, but this is what I find to be the easiest ways to do it. You can use ripped DVD's, downloaded matches, whatever you want.
The method is to use Boilsoft Video Converter, which can be downloaded here. Once you have downloaded and installed it, simply follow these steps:
1. Open the program.
2. Click the "Add" icon (the folder with an arrow) and browse to the video you want (any format in the list) and click "Open". The program will now read the individual frames from the video. This may take a while if you have a large video. If you are attempting to take a small part from a large video, I strongly suggest cutting the video to only that part use its editing platform, and also you can review the clip .
3. After the video has opened, you can select the output format you want to get. And there is a profile setting platform that output video/audio settings, such as Codec, Video/Audio quality, Bitrate, Frame rate, Frame Size, Sample rate, track, can be fully customized.
4. Now, if you want convert multiple videos, first you can add multiple videos and set them with different output formats.
5. Now click the “convert” button, and then you will get the formats you want.
There are other ways to do it, but this method is what I find easiest when I convert the flv video files.
