OpenGL on Windows
«

I have found that the iPhone's CPU runs at 415 MHz and the TP2's runs at 500 MHz. The reason the iphone has such good graphics is cause it supports OpenGL. If WinMo adds OpenGL support, will the TP2 be able to run games with equal graphics.

There are rumors that Windows 7 will support OpenGL ES (what the iPhone uses).
BTW: The iPhone's Samsung CPU was designed to run at 600 MHz, but Apple underclocked it to 415 MHz to save battery power.

Doing some research and posting as I go along.
The iPhone uses OpenGL ES 1.1. The new iPhone 3GS is going to use OpenGL ES 2.0. Windows mobile 7 is also rumored to use OpenGL ES 2.0.

More info. Symbian, Android, and the Playstation 3 use OpenGL ES 1.0.
I feel that if Windows Mobile 7 adds OpenGL support, that would be heaven for us gamers. Cause the TP2 has a higher resolution, larger screen, and faster processor than the iPhone. That would make games amazing since the iPhone can play high quality games extremely well.
