hey i woke up and my password on my phone didnt work and i wanted to know if anyone knew how to reset it without loosing my contacts and music

You have two possibilities:
Hard Reset - and lose everything
or
call Customer Support of your Wireless phone provider.  They might be able to help you and not have you lose your contacts etc.

well i figured it out.....i took out my sim  and MicroSD card and did a hard reset and all i lost was my apps but thanks
