Configured the TP2 to sync mail, etc with an Outlook Exchange server the other day. One small thing tripped us up for quite some time.

In Settings - Communications - Microsoft Direct Push – ActiveSync, Menu – Configure Server... - Next - Next – Edit Server Settings, Menu – Advanced - Connection drop-down, we found that the default was "Dedicated". Changing this to "Internet" allowed the existing internet connection to be used and the sync worked fine.

Angry  Man I an a frustrated camper.  I have had my TP2 for 2 weeks now; I have talked to T-Mob, my sys admin, e-mailed WM and still no straight answers.

My work server is Exchange 2000.  T-Mob says its not compatible with WM 6.1  I have a hard time believing that but still I get no e-mail.  HELP somebody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our tech support people say it's pretty hard to connect to Exchange 2000. I connect to my Samsung Instinct (Mail and Calendar only) with Small Business Server 2003 and Exchange 2003 and we are getting ready to roll out Server 2008 and Exchange 2007 any day now. They tell me that will be much easier to connect and push out mail.
