What would you say is the optimum height & Width to make a good quality pic for a contact?

I've just tried cropping one but the quality when it reaches the phone is very poor. Anyone know?

I think it automatically resizes them from the camera on the device.

Here's what I noticed:
When you add the picture by way of Outlook Contacts, it shows up very poorly in the TF3D contacts tab.

If you apply a picture to a contact directly from the people tab, it looks very good.

Can you explain what you mean by apply a picture to a contact directly from the people tab please Atomic2Mod?

I would like to try this as I agree that the picture via Outlook Contacts, it isn't good.

well the second tab in touchflo in swedish is called people so either that orrr she meant that
you can try adding a picture in contacts by tapping on the person you want to change the photo for
choose edit contact go down to more and choose the option picture where you can set the photo you want for the person.

sorry to say I havent tried adding a pic from outlook so cant say what kind of difference it does.
I allways go by adding the picture from my contact list and it shows up either descent or I have gotten used to the bad quality not sure wich cause I remember at first I also thought the pictures where to blurry and I hardly could see what it was supposed to resemble, but when going through the people I have inserted a photo of now the quality seems descent 8P

I think I need to update the drivers for my eyes so I can see clearly again Wink

I dont have a TP2 yet but I can confirm that others have said pics through the People tab look better.  So instead of adding the picture through outlook, edit the contact through TouchFlo.

While in the TF3D People tab, click "Menu / Change Picture" (or add picture, if you don't have one on the contact)

Pick your picture and - voila!

Seems to be going better now  Smiley

However, a great many of my pics are rotated to the side and look wrong.

Anyone know what I need to do to these images to stop my phone rotating them?

sure:
Start/Programs/Pictures & Videos

Use the top drop-down to navigate to where your picture is.
Tap on it.
Menu/Edit/Rotate
