Hey sup guys, so I'm new to the HTC Tilt 2, I was a previous owner of the LG Incite, which disappointed me because of the unresponsive touchscreen and difficulty of text messaging. I just had a few questions regarding this new phone.

Is their any way to stop data charges? Like from accidentally accessing the internet or "media net"? I know with the LG Incite there was to disable the data by entering a series of numbers into the keypad and it brought you to another screen which gave you the option to disable certain things. Also I know with the incite you were able to create a fake connection so that every time the phone tried to connect with the internet, it would connect to the fake connection first and tell you that there was no connection available.

1. NoData
I believe there's an app out there called NoData. The thing is, it's quite unreliable. People have tried all sorts of things: spoofing the data dial out number, changing the registry etc, but at times the phone resets these values and charges happen.

The phone has a multitude of features that will access the net for one thing or another. A data plan would be a good idea.

2: Cracked Versions - codes - warez
This is an absolute NO NO here!!! Please do not ask for them or post them. It will get you banned.

There are some free GPS programs around. Check out http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ . It's a great resource!
