So, here's the question I should have asked before I brought any of this up.  Will moving to 6.5 make a significant difference? 
I do not like the SMS behavior on 6.1.
I still cannot get my e-mail from my work Exchange 2000 server.
There are a few other things that escape me at the moment but it still comes back to will 6.5 be a significant enough change to justify the risk I am taking?

Also: Do I have to do anything with the "radio"

some WM6.5 platforms have changed the text messaging interface. but to be honest i think it's worse than the original.

otherwise the text messaging will be the same as 6.1's interface.

Basically, its just a cosmetic thing with a few speed enhancements.  Otherwise, Windows Mobile 7 is the real change, and only the Zune HD has the hardware to handle that now.

Ya, Windows Mobile 7 is too far away, but 6.5 is still constantly changing.  They just released a new build 2 days ago.
