Problem with sounds on phone

I had a few custom .wav sounds I have playing for certain actions such as connecting and disconnecting from ActiveSync.  My problem is it only plays a small portion of the sound clip. They aren't songs or anything, just short sound clips.

Has anyone else had this problem or found a fix?

Just tested it with preinstalled sounds.  It does the same thing, cuts off the last half of the sound.  Kind of sad!
