The new TP2 looks incredible so before I jump ship, I have a few basic questions that I hope some can answer. I did search and found some information as well..

Battery life: I can't get a real answer, what is the expected life assuming normal usage, not heavy but normal talk, navigation maybe some surfing etc..

Navigation: For Sprint users, does this use the normal Sprint navigation program? If not, how well does the GPS work?

Voice mail: Does this utilize visual vm or something similar?

Locking: I assume it locks fairly easy with a simple passcode etc?

Calls: Is there a way to block numbers from calling/texting etc?

Weather and related apps: What basic applications like weather, stocks etc coem with the phone..

I know i'll have more but hopefully i can get some real answers from the above..

Thanks

While the UPS driver is still running around town with my phone ( Smiley ), there I do have some answers.

1) Battery life:
According to the htc website http://www.htc.com/us/product/touchpro2sprint/specification.html
1500 mAh Li-on
Talk time: Up to 4 hours
Standby: over 2 weeks
(The above are subject to network and phone usage)

2) Naviation:
It will have it's own tab for Sprint Navigator.

3) Voice Mail:
Same as usual. To get visual voicemail, you'll have to use a third party software (Google Voice).

4) Locking:
Passcorde lock is still standard on all PPCs

5) Blocking numbers:
To block calls, you'll have to use a third party software. Nothing pre-installed here.
To block Text Messages: You can set Black-lists & White-lists on Sprint.com to block Text Messages.

6) Weather:
Integrated Wheather Tab, also integrated in the Calendar App.

7) Stocks:
Stock Tab

It's a great phone!!!

I used to be an Instinct owner and I went to the original Touch Pro.  I am absolutely stoked I did it.  This is the upgrade to the Touch Pro so I am pretty certain going from the Instinct to the Tilt2 will probably be one of the best decisions you will make.  It really depends on what you absolutely need in a phone though.  The Instinct is a fantastic media phone but when it comes to third party apps, games etc.. it is useless.
