Hi guys,

I'm new here, a long-time user of Symbian (Communicator 9500, E62, E90, E71, N97). The reason why I migrate is simply that I need to write in many languages with different keyboard layouts (cyrillic, japanese, hindi, french accentuations, etc.) but Symbian S60 apps don't cover this area. My other need is that I have to browse off-line web sites that I create (the same pages fully display in WM 6.1, but miss the pictures in S60 - I tried every possible settings).

On the hardware side, "upgrading" form the Nokia N97 to TP2 keyboard is... wow.

Thanks for letting me share with other users!

Welcome.  Yes, you will find that many of also also prefer WinMo for its customizability.

Hello everybody! I currently own a sprint mogul and I have been waiting for what feels like ever for the tp2 to come out! I love my mogul but I am ready to switch to the tp2. Now that it's actually out my upgrade doesn't kick in until feb 10 Angry. I love sprint believe it or not but the 599.99 minus $75 (current available upgrade) is just to much money for me! I know it's a great phone but $500 is $500. Funny thing is I have been with sprint for about 7years and I'm on a family plan! My wife has the primary account so she gets premier status and $150 dollar upgrades every year but my account is not so I get it every 2 years. I am real close to changing my carrier just to get this phone! Unfortunately when I do the comparison between carriers Sprints plans are the best deal in the long haul. I currently have the everything data plan! Verizon is real tempting with the tp2 for $199 is really catching my eye though!

Greeting Icelord!
I just recently switched my primary account to my number after I got an upgrade on the original primary account. It took only one billing cycle for the 1 year count to kick in and now I'm eligible to get my upgrade in November.

Just a thought....

Hello J!nxed and Atomic2Mod,

Thanks for the greetings and A2M thanks for the advise! My wife has the primary account and she is thinking about the palm pre so she has her eye on that discount too! It looks like I may just have to wait until Feb to get mine, it's just driving me crazy cause I want it now! In the meantime I just have to keep my eye's open for some deals out there! Sprint is making it hard to leave them with that new any mobile anytime deal!

Hi everyone. Just found this forum while looking for places to learn more about the TP2. I (hopefully) will be getting the T-Mobile version in March 2010. Does anyone know if it will come out in the all-black version that Sprint or Verizon got? I don't wanna switch carriers but that version just looks better.

By the way, I have SOME experience with Windows Mobile. I used to use an HP iPAQ 6315 about 4-5 yrs ago but went through 3 of them after they were dropped and broken.

Welcome to the forum!

I think the one on T-Mobile here
 http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/Cell-Phone-Detail.aspx?cell-phone=HTC-Touch-Pro-2&WT.z_HP=Ph3
will be the only version out for this carrier. I've never seen any carrier release more than one model of the high-end WM phones. I think it's really sleek though.

WM has come a long way, I believe you'll like how far it's come.
