Hey there everyone! I'm coming to the Tilt 2 from 3 messed up Incites. Loved that phone to death but in the end it had too many hardware issues anyway they offered me this or the pure and obviously out of the 2 i was going to take the tilt 2. I have to say the incites forum was much more active though so i hope we can pick this one up. Ive checked out the xda site for this phone though and i gotta say that's booming. My phone should be here within the next couple of days and i cant wait to flash sense on there anyway here's to a better phone and making this community larger!

Ah does it come standard on the sprint tp2? Also how smooth are the weather animations? Ive read some people complaining about them slowing the phone down and i hope that's not they case because that's definitely one of my favorite features of sense. Im a sucker for animations.  Tongue Either way coming from the lg incite i think im going to be impressed all through this phone. Grin

No, it didn't come standard. Had my phone since sprint came out with it, and they just recently came out with the ROM upgrade to 6.5, which included the Sense UI.

I like the weather animations and do not notice any lag from the feature.

They gave us this flip clock however, which takes several seconds to flip to the correct time - it annoys me to no end and is something I'll fix as soon as I have more time.

They also omitted the x-button - but that was an easy download and I have it back.

Ah as far as i know there are a couple unofficial roms with sense for the tilt 2 correct? And glad to hear that the animations don't hang anything up. Wounder why they would have removed the x-button though seems like a feature that should be mandatory. Wouldnt have survived with out it on my incite cause the accelerometer used to lock up the phone. So i was going to ask you know how to give people cookies?

After you have reached a certain post count (I believe it's 5), you will see the cookie option to the left of their posts, where the avatars are.

What kind of unlocking do you mean?

* To use with other carriers?
* to use overseas?
* to flash to other operating systems?
* to enter the lock screen?
* any other kind of unlocking not mentioned? (Jailbreaking, hacking, etc)

I believe it's already unlocked - but to make sure, you should call AT&T before you travel or drop by a store with the phone. I don't know if they need to set anything else up. Mine (Sprint) reads "sim card unlocked", but I still need to call in, if I should travel.

But be aware: as far as I know, only the phone part will work overseas, not the data part. If you need to get online, you'll need to use your wifi.
